Environmental audits provide assurance manufacturers are operating in accordance with appropriate regulations and that environmental problems will be minimized. Audits are often requested by corporations where each division is responsible for environmental control and where companies do not have full time environmental staff at each facility. Environmental audits are routinely requested prior to acquisitions to identify additional capital requirements needed to bring a facility into compliance and to identify environmental liabilities. Huff & Huff has conducted over 200 audits over the past ten years.
